‘I want to do more than just listen’
- lessons after school
- age confirmed with an ID
- payment after the trial lesson
No scales and no years of preparation: from the first lesson — the decks and real tracks.
Beatmatching trains the ear and the sense of rhythm, and taking a track apart shows how music actually works.
Mentors are working DJs and producers. The lesson is just the student and the mentor, at the student’s own pace.
Tasks between lessons that don’t require buying any gear.
Your teenager gets to know the gear, learns to beatmatch and do simple transitions. Want more — the next pass is at the same price.
The pass is for teenagers aged 12 to 18: the teen learns, the parents decide.

FOR PARENTS
Every lesson is one-on-one with a mentor at ŠUM Studio. It starts with a free trial: your teenager meets the mentor and tries the gear. You pay only if you decide to continue — before the first lesson.
APPLYOur students play at different events around the city, including the ones we organize in collaboration with the venues.

Started open-format from scratch in 2025.
Invited to play Wine Garden in 2026.Choose the lesson language and open the profiles: you can pick the mentor for the trial right away.
Choose a mentor above — we’ll show how much you save.
You now know how the professional gear works, can beatmatch, do simple transitions, and get a hold of how your favourite music actually works.
The pass renews at the same price. 10% off rooms and studio events — always.

Pass lessons run in ŠUM Studio’s small sound-isolated room: two Pioneer CDJ-3000s and a DJM-900NXS2 mixer — the same gear club booths use. No gear of your own needed.
NO EQUIPMENT NEEDED
SOLO PRACTICE AVAILABLE
Meet a mentor, try the decks and decide what comes next.
BEFORE THE FIRST HOUR
No solfège and no curriculum planned years ahead. From the first lesson your teenager works on the decks with real tracks, and understands rhythm, structure and mixing through practice. It’s a different way into music — through practice, not theory.
No. We start with listening, rhythm and decisions on the decks, and the mentor explains from the student’s level.
With an ID that shows the age: the pass price is for school students aged 12 to 18.
The pass renews at the same price: the next five lessons are again 19,900 RSD.
Same format — five private lessons built around the student’s goal. The price is different: 19,900 RSD instead of 29,000, or instead of 34,000 with a top mentor.
Meeting the mentor and the studio, first time on the decks the lessons run on, and a talk about what the five lessons should focus on.
In ŠUM Studio’s small sound-isolated room: two Pioneer CDJ-3000s and a DJM-900NXS2, or an all-in-one OPUS-QUAD. The big room — four CDJ-3000s, a DJM-A9 and Technics turntables — isn’t part of the pass, but it can be rented for practice with the 10% student discount.
No. The trial and every lesson in the pass run on the academy’s gear.
Nothing before the free trial. If you decide to continue, the pass is paid after the trial, before the first lesson.
